The Gray is a performing dance company focused on the mission to create immersive storytelling pieces that connect with the audience in order to develop their personal selves as well as their connection with the art of dance. The purpose of the work of The Gray is to find avenues to speak to audiences through dance in new ways that allow for greater and new audience support and interaction. The time spent developing dance pieces is used by the company to not only create movement but also to explore how that movement is perceived and can be received by the public. It is more of a research and performing company as opposed to just performance focused and the work is made largely with the audience/art consumer in mind.
