SeaBCC is community first and foremost.
We provide not only an entertainment venue, but a space for education, networking, and artistic development. Our organization was created by burlesque and cabaret performers with burlesque and cabaret performers in mind.
Our mission is to empower, inspire, and build a community run by and for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ artists to create, learn and thrive in a welcoming, inclusive, and non-judgmental space. Through performances, classes, and open space, we encourage artistic expression as a way to honor our past and pave the way to a brighter future, while reinvigorating the arts for all.
So from April 1st through the 30th we will be engaging our community in our efforts to keep The Give Inn as a growing fixture in the Seattle Burlesque and Performing Arts community. And we need your help to make our goal.
Our Goal:
$75,000
With these funds we will upgrade our sound & lighting board, upgrade furniture (seating), purchase mirrors on wheels for our workshops, pay off our COVID-19 deferred rent balance, and be able to subsidized community use of our space.
We will be celebrating achieving our $75,000 goal as well as our one year anniversary on April 30th.
Our Hall of Fame Gala will be honoring our Washington State based burlesque legends Eartha Quake and Velvet Ice, celebrating PNW burlesque performers, many who appeared in 21st Century Burlesque Magazine’s Top 50 Most Influential Burlesque Figures List or have created the burlesque the wish to see in the world, and showcasing the burlesque and cabaret talent that has helped shape our first year!
Tickets for our Hall of Fame Gala will go on sale April 1st of course!
Make it rain this April at The Give Inn.
