JUMPKUT builds off of the work of its founder, Price Suddarth.  Throughout the pandemic, Price shifted his 15-year long career of developing new choreography for the stage to the digital one.  He began creating films for organizations such as the University of Oklahoma, The Kansas City Ballet, and the Pacific Northwest Ballet.  As a new dance film maker, he began to identify the challenges facing independent artists and sought to create an opportunity to elevate their voices to a level playing field.  Using his position as a dancer with the Pacific Northwest Ballet he conceived, developed, and directs the PNB Dance Film Festival.  The festival adheres strictly to the values of accessibility and amplification.  JUMPKUT is currently in the process of developing a television show to air on the free streaming channel EVRGRN. With a viewer base of nearly 5 million people, EVRGRN provides an incomparable opportunity for independent artists to reach an international audience.

Additionally JUMPKUT is planning the launch of its own subscription based streaming platform. The company aims to create a space where independent artists and established organizations alike can have a voice and reach beyond their sphere.

The company has created more than a dozen dance films in the past two years and shows no signs of slowing down. Through thrilling new partnerships, JUMPKUT looks to the future with excitement as it prepares to deliver even more ambitious projects. The mission is to create engaging and challenging work which uses the medium of dance to impact and inspire the audiences of today.
