We launched our new season in February this year, co-producing a 2 night spectacle with Tootsie Spangles
"Parts and Rekt: A Tribute Show in Loving Memory of Lil Sebastian"
It was a ROLLICKING, Parks and Recreation-themed variety show featuring sketch, songbirds, and of course, burlesque. We sold out!
UNFORTUNATELY: We sold tickets through Brown Paper Tickets. BPT subsequently notified us (and many other groups in Puget Sound) that they Could Not Honor the checks they sent us of ticket receipts. So.
Fortunately, we had enough in the bank to cover paying our performers, tech crew, and venue. But this means:
We're at a Low Ebb, financially for the Future....thus, with YOUR HELP? We're really leaning into GIVEBIG this year.
Once we're allowed out of our houses, we plan to pick up where we left off!
We want to produce and co-produce fun, uplifting live theatrical experiences, featuring prominently women, POC and the LGBTQiA communities.
On the Docket: A Staged Reading of HIBISCUS,
another edition or 3 of our Variety/Cabaret Show, and
QUITE POSSIBLY, a nerdlesque based on a long-running monster/angel series which is finally ending, after 15 years! (shhhhhhh...)
*About The Stay Up Late Show: We are a volunteer organization, bringing wild and wacky, delicious and sexy entertainment to Seattle and beyond. We are WOC LGBTIA+ led and supportive, and fancy ourselves a performance home for everyone..
