Drawing inspiration from the intersections of theatre, circus, dance and improvisation, Mik Kuhlman creates dynamic solo and ensemble theatre, live street art events and fosters artistic international collaborations. Based on Vashon Island, WA, she has been working as a performing and teaching artist, theatre-maker and producer in Seattle, Paris, and NYC with additional artistic residencies in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Works include: SPLIT SECOND; SHADOWS: A Live Art Installation; HOUSE #30; COVID RESPONSE SERIES; THE STANDING NATION:Remembering Our Kinship with Trees; and THE CONVERSATION CAFE. Her main collaborators include, visual and textile artist, Patricia Toovey, choreographer, Sally Sykes-Wylie and creative consultant, Meg McHutchison. Through all ages exposure and international living, she has developed a keen awareness of human behavior and a deep love for the Physical Arts.
