Ten Thousand Things is an award-winning, chart-topping podcast on Asian American stories hosted and produced by writer Shin Yu Pai.

For three seasons, Shin Yu produced her show Ten Thousand Things with KUOW, Seattle's NPR affiliate station. During that time, the show won awards from the Asian American Podcasters Association, The Signal Awards, and The Edward R. Murrow Awards. In 2023, it reached the top global 1% of all podcasts published. It was named last year as one of the best podcasts of 2023 by Mashable.

KUOW is unable to continue producing Ten Thousand Things. So Shin Yu is taking her show and making it independently with a new production partner and working towards finding a new distributor outside of public radio. In March 2025, The Wing Luke Museum will open an exhibition about objects in the show and a published book of essays is planned from University of Washington.
