Latina K Presents is a performing arts organization in Olympia, WA with a mission of creating a dynamic artistic space where diverse visions flourish, challenging unrealistic societal norms that disproportionately affect BIPOC performers. Led and curated by Latina Kash Turner D’Ho, Latina K Presents aims for an unforgettable audience experience by showcasing vibrant colors and different cultural backgrounds, fostering broad engagement and inclusivity through the arts of Burlesque, Drag and other performance disciplines.
“Azúcar: A Latine Cabaret Experience”
Azúcar, a Latine Cabaret Experience is the first documented all-Latine burlesque-focused showcase in Olympia and the state of Washington. Our mission is to create an innovative entertainment experience that welcomes all by showcasing and centering Latine talent from across the Pacific Northwest. At Azúcar we seek to inspire and foster meaningful cultural connections before, during, and after each show.
"SPOILERS: A Timey Wimey Doctor Who Cabaret Experience"
Spoilers is Olympia’s first ever Doctor Who themed burlesque show. The first edition of Spoilers took place in October ’24 at The Mortuary in downtown Olympia. Hosted by Latina K Turner D’Ho as Thirteenth, Spoilers took the audience on an immersive and interactive journey through time and space during which we laughed, cried, waited for that impossible love, regenerated, transformed, fought villains, and triumphantly saved our planet. The show brought a variety of talented artists from Seattle to Portland: some returned to this town, and some we welcomed for the first time. For the next year, we are hoping to bring this show back as a bi-annual event
"Rock Candy Burlesque"
Rock Candy Burlesque is an artistic entity that is welcoming of artists from all walks of life with diverse creative and cultural backgrounds. A brand established in 2012 as a performing troupe, Rock Candy Burlesque is committed to creating spaces that are accessible to people of all abilities and financial status, and inclusive of artists of all shapes, sizes, shades, abilities, gender presentation, expression and identity; sexual orientation and ethnic origin. The collective dissolved in 2021, and the RCB brand is now currently owned and operated by Latina K Presents, putting the spotlight on local favorites at each show.
I invite you to consider being part of the success of this adventure!
With gratitude,
Latina Kash Turner d'Ho
