My vision for this organization was born from a personal passion for creating a dedicated platform for Queer and BIPOC artists, whose voices and experiences are often underrepresented in mainstream art institutions. As a creative, I recognized a significant gap in Seattle’s Pioneer Square—a historic neighborhood for the LGBTQIA+ community—where there wasn't an art gallery specifically dedicated to these communities. I felt a call to not only showcase their incredible talent but also to help restore a sense of queer connection to the area.

Our vision is to be an accessible gallery and "third space" that is a hub for empowerment, cultural exchange, and creative development. Where cultural stories are not just displayed but celebrated through a wide range of programming, from film screenings and performance art to free workshops for emerging artists. Our work is so important to me because I believe that by providing a visible and dedicated space, we can ensure that the powerful stories of Queer persons and communities of color are permanently woven into the cultural fabric of Seattle.

As we head into 2026 we are looking to hit at least 35% of our fundraising goal to match our current 3 year grant. This will provide operational support to cover gallery expenses, hire staff, and fund free events for the 2026-2027 year ahead. This includes free workshops and classes on the business development for artists, expanding the annual Queer Art Exhibition to include more programming around performance art. And helping to restore and tell the story of Seattle's Queer and BIPOC history.
