BLACK 4 CHARITIES

BLACK 4 CHARITIES exists to create, produce, and provide education that fosters family connection, personal development, and community benefit. We will utilize all available methods, including in-person and virtual opportunities. We have intentionally centered our work around historically marginalized people, including Black/African-American and BIPOC youth and families. We are utilizing the principles of Kwanzaa to connect with culture, heritage, and reason to celebrate.

This same group created the Kinara Park Kids ® "Developing Community through Positive Imaging", including the Urban Culture contribution by African American and BIPOC youth. As a result of this culturally relevant work, and the self-actualization that this work provides, we have been working on Social, Emotional, and Ethical Learning (SEEL) resources. The development of this work is what ties Kinara Park Kids to Black 4 Charities. We are providing a bridge from Black lives to the community of artists, arts leaders, and arts supporters that very much want to see them thrive and make their voices heard.
