Located in the heart of the Capital City, Latina K Presents is a performing arts organization in Olympia, WA with a mission of creating a dynamic artistic space where diverse visions flourish, challenging unrealistic societal norms that disproportionately affect BIPOC performers. Led and curated by Latina K Turner D’Ho, Latina K Presents aims for an unforgettable audience experience by showcasing vibrant colors and different cultural backgrounds, fostering broad engagement and inclusivity through the arts of Burlesque, Drag and other performance disciplines.


Azúcar, a Latine Cabaret Experience is the first documented all-Latine burlesque-focused showcase in Olympia and the state of Washington. Our mission is to create an innovative entertainment experience that welcomes all by showcasing and centering Latine talent from across the Pacific Northwest. At Azúcar we seek to inspire and foster meaningful cultural connections before, during, and after each show.

Azúcar, a testament to the vibrant richness of our culture and shared experience, welcomes artists of all Latine heritages irrespective of ethnic and cultural backgrounds. It is crucial for me as an Ecuadorian immigrant, an Olympia resident since 2005, and a participant in the local performing arts scene to provide and curate a space where Latine artists can embrace their identities without fear of discrimination. At Azúcar, Latine artists who struggle with their identities can deepen the bond with their heritage in a space free of judgement. I aim to create and nurture a space where my Latine community is not just seen but celebrated.
